FixMyHomeAberdeen is a lead-matching service operating in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. We are the data controller for information you submit through this website.
What we collect
Your name, email address, phone number, postcode, a description of the work required, any photos you upload, and basic technical data such as the pages you visited and how you found us.
Why we collect it
To review your request, match it with a suitable local trade, contact you about the job, and improve the service. We rely on your consent and our legitimate interest in operating the service.
Who we share it with
When your job is accepted, we share your name, contact details, job description and photos with the single matched trade business so they can carry out the work. We do not sell your details to lists of companies.
How long we keep it
Job records are kept for up to six years for accounting and dispute-handling purposes. Photos are deleted sooner where they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@fixmyhomeaberdeen.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
